Work Projects

Webex for tvOS

Tech Lead

I led the entire tvOS initiative from the ground up at Cisco. This was one of the most fun projects I've worked on - building a meetings app for Apple TV that lets you join video calls using your iPhone or iPad as the camera.

The most enjoyable part was implementing the snow particle emitter for the holiday theme. It's those little touches that make an app feel polished and delightful.

Webex for iOS

Tech Lead

I've been working on Webex for iOS for years, so there's too much to list. The app handles messaging, meetings, calling, and more - it's a massive codebase with a lot of moving parts.

One of my favorite recent projects was building a custom emoji picker with autocomplete. I also got to add another snow particle emitter for the holiday theme here too!

SNKRS

iOS Developer

This was my first major app. I worked on SNKRS at Nike for about a year and a half, starting 2 months before I actually graduated. It gave me incredible experience working with a full UI team and backend services.

Nike was really into custom UX, so I got a lot of practice building custom UI elements and interactions. This experience shaped how I approach mobile development to this day. I also worked on the Nike Skate app before leaving.

Trapit

Lead iOS Developer

I was the Lead iOS Developer at Trapit, building the employee advocacy app from scratch about a month after I joined. The entire app was written in Swift - starting with version 1.2, then migrating to 2.0 just a month later.

This role gave me much more influence over UI and UX decisions compared to my time at Nike. I got deep experience working with social APIs and building a robust networking layer. Startup culture is in my blood, and I felt much more productive in this environment.
